Shocking Twist: Baba Talisha’s Stolen iPhone 15 Pro Max Tracked All the Way to Uganda

Kenyan content creator Baba Talisha, born Faustine Lipuku Lukale, has shared a shocking update after losing two of his expensive phones during the Mataha Festival in Nairobi.

According to his statement, the iPhone 15 Pro Max, one of the stolen devices, was successfully tracked moving from Nairobi to Ngong Town, then Kisumu, and finally crossing the border into Kampala, Uganda.

Baba Talisha revealed that the missing phones contained important brand projects and unreleased content, adding that their loss was a huge setback to his creative work. Earlier, he had offered KSh 50,000 as a reward to anyone with credible information that could lead to the recovery of the devices.

The entertainer also shared CCTV footage and tracking screenshots, which appear to trace the phone’s movement across towns. He called on Kenyans to stay alert during major events, where tech theft is reportedly on the rise.

Authorities are yet to issue an official statement, but Baba Talisha says he is working with local and regional contacts to recover his gadgets.

“It’s painful to lose something you worked hard for, especially with all your projects inside,” he said in a post.

The story has sparked conversations online, with fans urging law enforcement agencies to strengthen cross-border collaboration against rising smartphone theft.
